Purpose of Role
Perform production and development geophysics on producing fields in our core asset areas in the Northern North Sea subsurface teams. Work closely with the field geologist and exploitation engineer to maintain production and seek opportunities for growth through in-field drilling, near-field exploration, and bringing existing prospects to production.
The role is key to the success of the team and leadership/coordinating responsibilities are expected, including preparation of work schedules and plans, and the ability to lead projects as required. The Northern North Sea is a growth area where CNR is expanding activity over the coming years through both increased drilling and asset purchases. Work on evaluating acquisition opportunities is therefore to be expected.
